Virtualization

Virtualization must be enabled from BIOS. Depending on manufacturer of ur motherboard that button could be ESC DEL F2 F8 F10 F12. What key to press is found while starting ur pc or you could google for example: Asus bios button

  1. Reboot ur system

  2. Press the button to access BIOS, spamming the button works fine.

  3. You might need to go into expert/advanced mode unless BIOS is already in that state.

  4. Under CPU or Advanced -> CPU is the most common place to find the setting.

  5. Find Intel Virtualization Technology and enable. Save settings and done. Intel Virtualization Technology could also be called: AMD-V, SVT, SVM, VT-x depending on motherboard.

VT-D IS NOT THE SAME THING AS Intel Virtualization Technology

You could download and it would show up as VMX in green if supported (AMD-V for AMD) This can be an indication that its already enabled, but this also shows as Enabled if VT-d is enabled.
